Major Annual Competitions
Singles Box League (January – Year-Round Play)
Kicking off the season in January, our Singles Box League is the backbone of competitive tennis at the club. Open to a wide range of abilities, it provides:
- Flexible match scheduling
- Regular competitive play
- Promotion and relegation for balanced competition
It’s the perfect way to stay match-sharp all year and measure your progress against fellow members.
Club Championships (Starting May)
Our Club Championships are the pinnacle of individual competition and the heart of the season. Featuring:
- 5 Main Draw events
- 3 Plate events ensuring opportunities for all levels
These championships showcase the depth of talent within the club and build toward our most prestigious day of the year — Finals Day.
Doubles & Inclusive Events
Handicap Doubles (Starting March)
Beginning in March, our Handicap Doubles competition features three events, designed to:
- Encourage mixed-ability pairings
- Promote fun, tactical tennis
- Keep competition close and engaging
Wheelchair Tennis Day
We host a dedicated one-day Wheelchair Tennis event, reinforcing our commitment to inclusivity and ensuring tennis at our club is accessible to all.
Additional One-Day Events
Across the season, we also run two further one-day tournaments, offering fresh formats, friendly competition, and great club atmosphere.
Social & Fun Events
Competition at our club isn’t just about results — it’s about community.
- World Cup Tennis Event – a team-based, nation-themed competition packed with colour and camaraderie
- Christmas Tennis Event – a festive end-of-season favourite combining tennis, fun formats, and holiday spirit

Late September | Tennis • BBQ • Charity
The standout date in the club calendar is Championship Finals Day. This celebration brings the entire club together for:
- Club Championship finals matches
- A BBQ and social gathering
- Charity fundraising activities
