Open Doubles

The Finals of the Open Doubles were held at the Club on Saturday.

The Ladies Doubles opened with a close well fought match with Laura & Katarina eventually beating Frankie & Rachel 6-3, 3-6, 7-5.

Next we had the Mens Doubles which again saw some excellent play. Alex & Rob ran out winners 6-1, 6-4 against Roy & Mike.

Last but not least we ended with the Mixed Doubles which again produced a very close result marred only by Roy & Laura battling cramp. Keith & Frankie just clinched the match 7-5, 3-6, 7-5.

Vets Doubles

The Finals of the Vets Doubles were held on Sunday.

Ladies Doubles : Sue Clifford & Carole Charlton beat Alison Blundell and Jill Jackson 6-2, 6-3.

Mens Doubles : Clive Mitchell & Steve Maddigan beat Jim Kitchen and Tim Gotts 6-7, 7-5, 6-3.

Mixed Doubles : Mary Claremont & Jim Kitchen beat Carole Charlton and Clive Mitchell 6-4, 7-5.
