Alison & Leanne vs 1st pair
The opening game had over 20 deuces which set the pattern for the rest of the match. Having gone down 1-3, drew level at 4-4 but then after another long game went down 4-6. Managed a good start in the second set, playing more aggressively to go 3-1 up but faltered and went down 5-7.

Alison & Leanne vs 2nd pair
Started well but after leading 3-1 eventually lost 4-6. In the second set fatigue set in which affected concentration and led to a 2-6 loss.

Margaret & Jo vs 2nd pair
Started well and broke serve at 3-2 to go 4-2 up, going on to win the 1st set 6-3. Although playing many deuces failed to get a game in the second set and then went on to lose the championship tie break.

Margaret & Jo vs 1st pair
The sun was playing a greater part and everyone struggled at one end, managing to overcome this the 1st set was won 6-2. After a bad start the 2nd set was eventually lost 4-6 but the championship tie break was won 10-8 having been 4-8 down.
