Play takes place all year round with evenings and weekends being the most popular. A morning session also takes place on Wednesdays. Court times are allocated to each category of membership. The current programme of play provides a range of opportunities for social play, and tournaments are run throughout the whole year – both league and inter-club. The juniors also have opportunities to play outside of their coaching sessions.
The club has 6 Mens teams and 4 Ladies teams in the Surrey League and also enters 2 Ladies team in the Woking League. There are also club tournaments throughout the year, as well as one day tournaments which are open to all members.
Court Usage
There are ‘social sessions’ on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Friday evenings, also on Saturday afternoons and Sundays all day. These are ‘mix in’ doubles sessions and are open to all members. The Beginners/Improvers have social sessions on Tuesday evenings and Sundays 12-2pm.
The Court Timetable shows the availability at other times when courts may be booked by members for singles play, tournament matches etc. Currently only team captains can book courts for league matches via the Court Booking System, other individuals need to do this at the club on the booking sheets.
Coaching
Coaching is available either individually or in groups. Head Coach Steve Savage and his team are available to all members who are looking to improve any aspect of their game. If you are looking to join the club and have either never played before or have not played for some time there are courses to enable you to achieve a reasonable playing standard.

Juniors
Junior coaching takes place on two sessions per week and is run by the head coach and his assistants. The different abilities/ages are split into sessions on Saturday mornings and Friday evenings. The club now has Mini Tennis Performance Accreditation. Once juniors have achieved a certain level they are invited to attend senior sessions in order to give them maximum opportunities to improve their play and provide experience of doubles play.
